Last year, VNC 2020 featured a very different format. While some attendees called it the best online-conference they attended in 2020, not meeting in person is only the second best option. In 2021, the organizing team is therefore committed to bring back the opportunity to meet in-person again. As the development of the pandemic over the next months and thus the possibilities to travel to and meet in a conference venue in November are hard to predict, we made the decision to plan VNC 2021 in a hybrid format where we aim for an equally good conference experience for both presenters and attendees no matter if you attend on-site or remotely. You will be able to register for the online conference and book an add-on package for on-site participation even on relatively short notice, leaving you all options open as long as possible. For this workshop, we seek papers that combine the design of algorithms and testbed implementations to develop the theoretical foundations for UAVs as well as the synergies with IoT devices.
