CALL FOR POSTERS
45th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (IEEE
ICDCS 2025), 20-23 July 2025, Glasgow, Scotland, UK
https://icdcs2025.icdcs.org/call-for-posters/
<https://icdcs2025.icdcs.org/call-for-posters/>
SCOPE
The 45th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems
(IEEE ICDCS 2025) is the premier international forum for researchers and
practitioners to present, discuss and exchange cutting edge ideas as well
as the latest findings on topics related to all aspects of distributed
computing systems.
IEEE ICDCS 2025 will feature a poster track in conjunction with the
conference, which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, from
July 20th to July 23rd, 2025 (https://icdcs2025.icdcs.org/
<https://icdcs2025.icdcs.org/>).
The poster track aims to provide delegates with a platform to present early
or late-breaking results, work in progress and thought-provoking ideas,
facilitating the exchange of ideas and promoting collaborations. ICDCS 2025
is now inviting contributions to the poster track. Submissions should be in
the form of papers in a short format that are best presented as posters
during the conference. We particularly welcome contributions presenting
theoretical or experimental research from academic or industry settings in
the general areas of distributed systems and computing as well as the
emerging area of distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine
Learning (ML) and applications.
Contributions can be related to, but are not limited to, the following
topics. Submissions that stimulate and promote discussion are especially
encouraged:
* Distributed Systems for AI/ML
* AI/ML for Distributed Systems
* Distributed LLM Inference
* Federated Learning, LLMs and RAG deployments
* Big Data, Models and Systems
* Mobile, Edge and Cloud Computing
* Operating Systems and Middleware
* Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems
* Trustworthy AI, Security and Privacy in Distributed AI
* Deployment Mechanisms for Distributed Systems
* Novel Infrastructure and Emerging Applications
POSTER SUBMISSION
Submissions to the poster track must be original and unpublished and must
not be submitted concurrently for publication elsewhere. All submissions
should follow the IEEE 8.5″ x 11″ two-column format using 10pt fonts and
the IEEE Conference template (downloadable by selecting “Conferences” in
the IEEE-Template Selector https://template-selector.ieee.org/
<https://template-selector.ieee.org/>).
Each submission can have up to six (6) pages (including figures, tables,

*_FMEC 2025 CFP:_*
Cloud computing provides a large range of services and virtually unlimited
available resources for users. New applications, such as virtual reality
and smart building control, have emerged due to the large number of
resources and services brought by cloud computing. However, the
delay-sensitive applications face the problem of large latency, especially
when several smart devices and objects are getting involved in human’s life
such as the case of smart cities or Internet of Things. Therefore, cloud
computing is unable to meet the requirements of low latency, location
awareness, and mobility support. To solve this problem, researchers have
introduced a trusted and dependable solution through the Fog and the Mobile
Edge Computing (FMEC) to put the services and resources of the cloud closer
to users, which facilitate the leveraging of available services and
resources in the edge networks. By this, we are moving from the core (cloud
data centers) to the edge of the network closer to the users. FMEC
dependability is based on providing user centric service. The purpose of
Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing is to run the heavy real-time
applications at the network edge directly using the billions of connected
mobile devices.
Several features enable the Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing to be a
perfect paradigm to the aforementioned purpose, which are the dense
geographical deployment of servers, supporting mobility and the closeness
to users. As in every new technology, some challenges face the vision of
the Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing, which are the administrative
policies and security concerns (i.e. secure data storage, secure
computation, network security, data privacy, usage privacy, location
privacy, etc). FMEC 2024 conference aims to investigate the opportunities
and requirements for Mobile Edge Computing dominance. In addition, it seeks
for novel contributions that help mitigate Mobile Edge Computing
challenges. That is, the objective of FMEC 2025 is to provide a forum for
scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas,
novel results and experience on all aspects of Fog and Mobile Edge
Computing (FMEC). FMEC 2025 is Technically Co-Sponsored by IEEE Florida
Section. Researchers are encouraged to submit original research

following:
* Fog and Mobile Edge Computing in unmanned aerial vehicle communications
and applications

*CALL FOR PAPERS*
Robotic networks have emerged as a transformative force with the potential
to reshape industries, enhance our daily lives, and venture into the most
challenging environments on Earth and beyond. At the heart of this
transformation lies the critical aspect of communication and networking,
enabling robots to operate effectively, share data and collaborate seamlessly.
In this era of interconnected devices, robots rely on advanced
communication protocols and networks to function efficiently in diverse
environments. Whether in manufacturing, healthcare, autonomous vehicles, or
space exploration, the ability of robots to communicate with each other and
with humans is transforming industries and pushing the boundaries of
technological innovation.
The frontier of research foresees the deployment of highly autonomic and
integrated scenarios where heterogeneous ground, aerial and/or marine
robots coordinate with each other and with the existing sensing and
processing infrastructures to accomplish complex tasks. On the one side,
this implies proposing and investigating novel M2M solutions and network
protocols to enable the data communication on the aerial and ground
segments while taking into account the novel possibilities offered by the
emerging technologies (e.g. 5G/6G and LEO satellite communications). The
communication technologies must be paired with proper control mobility
functions to support swarm operations and to instill coordinated behaviors.
On the other side, the data processing on the mobile edges may take
advantage of emerging federated and embedded AI techniques to drastically
reduce the latency of the decision process while limiting the amount of
data transferred from the robotic networks.
