Submissions should be a two-page abstract/proposal that follows the IEEE formatting guidelines: refer to the IEEE submission instructions for details. There is no need for double-blind submissions (names, affiliations, and email addresses are therefore required). Be as specific as possible in describing what you will demonstrate or display as poster or demo. In the submission, specify clearly whether you will be presenting a poster or a demo (the latter can be accompanied by a poster also). The demo/poster session will have power and wireless Internet connectivity available. If a demonstration requires special arrangements or additional equipment, please detail it in the submission. All additional equipment/needs are subject to budget approval. Abstracts of accepted demos/posters will be included in the INFOCOM 2020 Proceedings. Accepted and presented abstracts will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.
Poster submissions should be made via EDAS using this link: http://edas.info/N26981
Demo submissions should be made via EDAS using this link: http://edas.info/N26980
In the submission, please select Live/Video Demonstration or poster presentation.

The Fifth International Conference on Fog and Mobile Edge Computing (FMEC
2020)
http://emergingtechnet.org/FMEC2020/index.php
Paris, France. April 20-23, 2020
(Technically Co-Sponsored by IEEE France Section)
*FMEC 2020 CFP:*
Cloud computing provides large range of services and virtually unlimited
available resources for users. New applications, such as virtual reality
and smart building control, have emerged due to the large number of
resources and services brought by cloud computing. However, the
delay-sensitive applications face the problem of large latency, especially
when several smart devices and objects are getting involved in human’s life
such as the case of smart cities or Internet of Things. Therefore, cloud
computing is unable to meet the requirements of low latency, location
awareness, and mobility support. To solve this problem, researchers have
introduced a trusted and dependable solution through the Fog and the Mobile
Edge Computing (FMEC) to put the services and resources of the cloud closer
to users, which facilitates the leveraging of available services and
resources in the edge networks. By this, we are moving from the core (cloud
data centers) to the edge of the network closer to the users. FMEC
dependability is based on providing user centric service. The purpose of
Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing is to run the heavy real-time
applications at the network edge directly using the billions of connected
mobile devices.
Several features enable the Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing to be a
perfect paradigm to the aforementioned purpose, which are the dense
geographical deployment of servers, supporting mobility and the closeness
to users. As in every new technology, some challenges face the vision of
the Fog and the Mobile Edge Computing, which are the administrative
policies and security concerns (i.e. secure data storage, secure
computation, network security, data privacy, usage privacy, location
privacy, etc).
FMEC 2020 conference aims to investigate the opportunities and requirements
for Mobile Edge Computing dominance. In addition, it seeks for novel
contributions that help mitigating Mobile Edge Computing challenges. That
is, the objective of FMEC 2020 is to provide a forum for scientists,
engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas, novel results

*https://www.cister-labs.pt/wfcs2020 <https://www.cister-labs.pt/wfcs2020>*
*SCOPE*
This special session focuses on the topics of automation systems and
critical infrastructures, with a special focus on automation protocols and
supporting computing and communications infrastructures. With the emergence
of 5G and the Industrial Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, is expected
that the next generation of Industrial Automation and Control Systems
(IACS) to expand well beyond the monolithic and self-contained premises
model, deployed on geographically constrained spaces under the
responsibility of a single operator. As a result, IACS will also evolve
towards becoming multi-tenant and distributed structures involving several
domains, such as cloud, edge, telecommunications infrastructure and utility
providers. In this perspective, the current breed of IACS has to be
improved with new tools and techniques, able to address the communications,
security, scalability and reliability needs of heavily dispersed IACS. This
session intends to address the relevant aspects that are involved in such
domains.
Currently, WFCS is the largest IEEE conference especially dedicated to
communications for (industrial) automation systems. Its aim is to provide a
forum for researchers, developers and practitioners to review and discuss
most recent trends in the area and share innovative research directions.
All papers of the Special Session will go through the regular paper
submission process of WFCS, using the following link:
*https://www.cister-labs.pt/wfcs2020/submit
<https://www.cister-labs.pt/wfcs2020/submit>*
*For this Special Session, we are seeking submissions of technical papers

-Automation technologies such as SCADA systems for civilian and military
uses;
-5G and edge-computing for distributed automation environments;
-Virtualization and multi-tenancy for communications and computing
infrastructures;
-Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications and network infrastructure
security for IACS;
-Security (auditing, protection, reaction) for IACS;
-Big data technologies and machine-learning approaches for IACS-based
scenarios;
-Forensics and auditing techniques for IACS;
-Risk and interdependency modeling for IACS;
-Threat lifecycle and profiling analysis for IACS.

Smart cities provide next generation engineering approaches for
urbanization. Smart cities aim to exploit the intellectual and social
capital as its core ingredient for urbanization, in addition to the
physical and ICT infrastructure. Smart cities are driven by several
interdependent trends. These include a pressing need for environmental
sustainability, and peoples’ increasing demands for personalisation,
mobility and higher quality of life. Technological developments such as
miniaturization of devices, internet of things (IoT), big data, and
decreasing costs of computational entities have also accelerated the smart
cities developments.
Smart cities encompass all aspects of modern day life, transportation,
healthcare, entertainment, work, businesses, social interactions,
governance, etc. It is therefore necessary to engineer smart cities as
complex systems of systems supported by a converged ubiquitous
infrastructure. A key challenge in the realization of smart cities is to
create an ecosystem of digital infrastructures that are able to work
together and enable dynamic real-time interactions between various smart
city subsystems. With this background, this workshop invites submissions
that propose state of the art solutions for smart cities systems
engineering.
A particular focus of the workshop are the studies that involve cloud
computing, fog computing, and mobile edge computing technologies. Original
articles including modelling and empirical studies and development, as well
as relevant surveys are welcome. The topics of interest of the workshop
include, but are not limited to:
* IoT based developments for smart cities engineering
* Big data technologies for smart cities
* Modelling and analysis of smart city technologies and systems
* Mobile applications for smart cities
* Analytics for smart cities
* Cloud computing based approaches for smart city engineering
* Fog and edge computing based approaches for smart city engineering
* Cloudlet based approaches for smart city engineering
* Studies focused on communication networks for smart cities
* Information management for smart cities
* Smart buildings, smart homes and smart energy grids
* Transportation, healthcare, and governance for smart cities
* Security and privacy of smart city systems

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The current trends in the Internet of Things (IoT) show a growing need for flexibility. Conventional IoT applications assumed homogeneous networks with static devices, while future applications are envisioning heterogeneous environments with different radio hardware, where nodes may or must move. This means that IoT networks will experience topological changes, deriving from variations in the surrounding environment, such as electromagnetic noise, physical conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure), and moving entities (people, vehicles, animals, furniture, objects).
Under unreliable constrained wireless networks for IoT networks, messages may frequently be lost or delayed. Consequently, as constrained devices move around different wireless networks, its connectivity may be frequently disrupted, and power can be drained rapidly due to the massive amount of signaling messages for network discovery. This can in turn result in the loss of important sensing data or imposing large delays for real-time applications such as healthcare monitoring and factory automation. Moreover, existence of a heterogeneous network will increase probability of interference for devices operating in same frequency band. Beside physical mobility, interference will also impose topological changes (known as logical mobility) in such a heterogeneous IoT network, which in turn will degrade network performance.
Dealing with the dynamics of these heterogeneous IoT networks, involving mobile entities extremely resource-constrained is very challenging. The Fog Computing paradigm is an architectural enabler for designing more flexible networks. Fog computing extends the Cloud-like services to the network edge to deal with IoT devices locally to carry out most of the storage, communication, control, configuration and management.

https://2020.acmmmsys.org
Scope and Topics of Interest
-----------------------------------------
The ACM Multimedia Systems Conference (MMSys) provides a forum for researchers to present and share their latest research findings in multimedia systems. While research about specific aspects of multimedia systems are regularly published in the various proceedings and transactions of the networking, operating systems, real-time systems, databases, mobile computing, distributed systems, computer vision, and middleware communities, MMSys aims to cut across these domains in the context of multimedia data types. This provides a unique opportunity to investigate the intersections and the interplay of the various approaches and solutions developed across these domains to deal with multimedia data types.
MMSys is a venue for researchers who explore:
* Complete multimedia systems that provide a new kind of multimedia experience or system whose overall performance improves the state-of-the-art through new research results in more than one component, or
* Enhancements to one or more system components that provide a documented improvement over the state-of-the-art for handling continuous media or time-dependent services.
Such individual system components include:
* Operating systems
* Distributed architectures and protocols
* Domain languages, development tools and abstraction layers
* Using new architectures or computing resources for multimedia
* New or improved I/O architectures or I/O devices, innovative uses, and algorithms for their operation
* Representation of continuous or time-dependent media
* Metrics and measurement tools to assess performance
This touches aspects of many hot topics including but not limited to: content preparation and (adaptive) delivery systems, high dynamic range (HDR), games, virtual/augmented/mixed reality, 3D video, immersive systems, plenoptics, 360-degree video, volumetric video delivery, multimedia Internet of Things (IoT), multi and many-core, GPGPUs, mobile multimedia and 5G, wearable multimedia, peer-to-peer (P2P), cloud-based multimedia, cyber-physical systems, multi-sensory experiences, smart cities, quality of experience (QoE).
We especially encourage submissions in the following Focus Areas:
* Machine learning and statistical modeling for video streaming
* Volumetric media: from capture to consumption
* Fake media and tools for preventing illegal broadcasts
Important Dates
-----------------------------------------
* Submission deadline: January 10, 2020 (firm deadline)
* Acceptance notification: March 16, 2020
* Camera-ready deadline: April 17, 2020
Submission Instructions
-----------------------------------------
Online submission: https://mmsys2020.hotcrp.com/
Papers must be up to 12 pages long (in PDF format) prepared in the ACM style and written in English. MMSys papers enable authors to present entire multimedia systems or research work that builds on considerable amounts of earlier work in a self-contained manner. MMSys papers are published in the ACM Digital Library. The papers are double-blind reviewed.
MMSys 2020 will continue to support scientific reproducibility, by implementing the ACM reproducibility badge system. Refer to the website for more details on the review process and the reproducibility badge system.

Dear Colleagues,
Call for Papers - ACM MobiHoc 2020, June 30-July 3, 2020, Shanghai, China (
https://www.sigmobile.org/mobihoc/2020/)
*Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this message*
ACM Mobihoc is a premier conference with a highly selective single-track
technical program dedicated to addressing the challenges emerging from
networked systems that must operate in the face of dynamics ranging from
changing user demands to connectivity and resource availability. Examples
of such dynamic networks include wired/wireless communication,
data-centers, sensors, energy, social, and transportation networks. Work
that presents new performance evaluation methods, novel algorithms or
provides fundamental insights for these systems is encouraged. We are
interested both in innovative works in an unexplored and/or emerging topic
in the broad area of networks, and in novel findings and/or new insights
that build on existing works. The specific areas of interest include, but
are not limited to:
- Internet of the Things (IoT), 5G, and next-generation wireless systems
- Blockchain, social networks, societal networks, and emerging networked
systems
- Cloud computing, edge computing, and distributed computing over
networks
- Modeling, analysis, optimization, and control in computer and mobile
networks
- Performance, including energy efficiency, and reliability of networks
and networked systems
- All but physical layer issues of wireless communication and mobile
networking
- Communication and networking aspects of cyber-physical systems
- Trust, security, and privacy in networks and networked systems
- Incentive mechanism and interaction analysis of networked systems,
network economics
- Tasks, applications, sensing, and services over networks and networked
systems
- Software Defined Networking/Network Function Virtualization
- Big-data analytics and machine learning for networks and networked
systems
- Information-centric networking, network caching, and coded caching
- Coded computation and inference in networks
Authors can keep their names on their submitted paper, i.e., *SUBMISSIONS
ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE DOUBLE BLIND*. Authors can also prepare technical
reports that are made available on their own websites and on purely
archiving organizations such as arXiv.org. However, all submissions must
comply with the *dual submission policy*
<https://www.sigmobile.org/mobihoc/2020/submission.html#dual-submission-poli…>
. *Each paper has a chance to submit a one-page rebuttal for the reviews*.
All submitted papers will be considered for a Best Paper Award. Papers are
