SenSys 2026 merges SenSys, IPSN, and IoTDI into a single, top-ranked, flagship event. The original three conferences have driven innovation across multiple disciplines, including sensor networks, embedded systems, mobile computing, machine learning, wireless communications, signal processing, embedded AI, cyber-physical systems, and AI-driven applications. SenSys 2026 unites these communities to foster a high-impact forum that advances research at the intersection of sensing systems and embedded artificial intelligence. SenSys 2026 is still pending the final approval of ACM and IEEE. Regular technical papers will be published in the ACM conference proceedings, while demos and posters will be published in the IEEE conference proceedings. Visions, Experiences, Tools, Datasets, and Benchmarks (optional short paper format) - Visions, grand challenges, or new directions - Experiences, insights, challenges, and lessons learned from real-world deployments - Benchmarks for evaluating systems, models, algorithms, or tools - Tools, toolkits, or frameworks that advance research in embedded AI and sensing systems - Datasets that support research in embedded AI and sensing systems Authors submitting papers in the last category (Visions, Experiences, Tools, Datasets, and Benchmarks) may choose between a full paper (12 pages) or a short paper (6 pages). Short papers will be judged on originality, potential impact, and clarity, even without extensive evaluation. Both types of papers will be presented orally at the conference. ** Double deadline ** Thanks to the merging of several conferences, SenSys will transition to a new submission process with two deadlines. Papers rejected in one cycle can be resubmitted to the next, but only with a strong statement justifying in detail how the revised version addresses the reviewers’ concerns. Resubmissions lacking this justification will be desk-rejected. ** Submission Guidelines ** Submitted papers must be original, unpublished work, and must not be under review for any other publication at the time of submission. Submissions must be at most 12 pages (full papers) or 6 pages (short papers), and must include all figures and tables within the page limits. References may use as many pages as needed. Both formats should be prepared on single-spaced 8.5” x 11” pages, using a 9-point font size in a two-column layout. Submissions must follow either the LaTeX template (preferred) or Word style files provided here. LaTeX submissions should specifically use the acmart.cls template with the sigconf option. Authors are expected to make a good-faith effort to anonymize their manuscripts. The presence of non-anonymous preprints (such as those on arXiv or similar repositories) will not result in rejection. Reviewers will be instructed not to actively look for such preprints, but incidentally discovering such materials will not violate the double-blind policy. Submissions that do not comply with the specified size, formatting, or anonymization guidelines will not be reviewed. All papers must be submitted in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) through the designated conference submission system. For submissions that involve research with human participants, including those using anonymized data, authors must include a brief description of how ethical considerations were addressed and whether the work received approval from an ethics review board (e.g., IRB). They play a crucial role in facilitating communication, enabling access to information, and powering the unseen minutiae of everyday life. Securing these networks and devices is of utmost importance to ensure the safety and privacy of individuals, businesses, and governments. However, despite significant recent progress recognizing the need for security in such systems, it is often still an afterthought. Furthermore, emerging communication technologies such as 6G, cloud computing, and the inexorable rise of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning present new security threats and privacy issues that require innovative solutions. Moreover, unconventional threats and vulnerabilities can circumvent established security and privacy dogmas, exposing key weaknesses in critical systems. The Workshop on Security and Privacy in Connected Embedded Systems (SPICES) aims to address these challenges. It provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss the latest topics and challenges in wireless and embedded systems security and privacy – not only on how existing systems should//be secured but also exploring important security aspects (or lack of) in current research trends. We welcome submissions with unusual takes on existing techniques, proposals for novel security and privacy solutions, exposure of atypical weaknesses, and the application of unconventional approaches to solving next-generation wireless security challenges. We invite researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to submit papers (up to 6 pages, double-column) focusing on topics such as: - Wireless security for cyber-physical systems (e.g., factory automation). - AI / Machine Learning assisted security and privacy at the physical, MAC, or networking layers. - Generative Adversarial Networks for wireless and embedded security. - Security protocols for wireless communications and networking. - RF Jamming attacks and defenses for wireless networks. - Localization and positioning privacy (GPS, UWB, BLE 5.2, etc.). - Measurement of embedded computing privacy leakage. - Privacy-enhancing and anonymization techniques in embedded computing. - Security and privacy techniques in embedded computing. - Privacy-enhanced data analytics and storage in embedded computing. - Privacy-preservation methods on context (e.g., location, energy) changes in embedded computing. - Offensive security and side-channel attacks on IoT devices. - Security and possible weaknesses in 6G cellular networks (3GPP, ETSI, IEEE, etc.). - Testbed and experimental platforms for wireless security. - Vehicular network security (e.g., drones, automotive, avionics, autonomous driving). - Security for UAV swarms (i.e., distributed, highly mobile systems). - Communications security in satellite systems. - Cryptography primitives and lightweight protocols for embedded IoT devices. - Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS). - Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs). - Internet of the Things (IoT) security and privacy. - Smart Contracts and Blockchain for wireless communication. - Multi-factor authentication methods for embedded IoT devices. - Zero-knowledge and zero-trust techniques in embedded computing. We especially encourage submissions that aim to broaden the discussion outside of traditional security and privacy challenges and approaches. Examples could include, but are not limited to: - Bio-inspired security solutions. - Visual/movement-based security solutions. - Environment-adaptive security. - Underwater communications security. - Visual Light Communication (VLC)-based security. - Quantum-based security. - Communication of embedded devices via satellite - Networks for tracking Well-reasoned arguments or preliminary evaluations are sufficient for this workshop. *** Submission Instructions *** Submitted papers must contain at most six pages (US letter, 9pt font size, double-column format, following the ACM master article template), including all figures, tables, and references. All submissions must be written in English. SPICES 2025 will use a double-anonymous review policy during the paper review process. Authors must not include their names, affiliations, and contact information in the manuscript they submit for review. Reviewers will not know the authors' identity until the paper's outcome is decided. Only PC chairs will know the identity of the authors and be able to interact with them during the review process, should the need arise. Submissions that are not properly anonymized will be rejected without being reviewed. Sep 30th, 2025 The rapid evolution of vehicular communication technologies, referred to as Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X), plays a crucial role in enabling intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and autonomous driving. Current V2X systems based on 5G already support advanced connectivity and mobility services through ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) and massive connectivity. The advent of beyond 5G (B5G) promises a paradigm shift, with features such as integrated sensing and communication, AI-native networking, and non-terrestrial network (NTN) support. These advancements are expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of future vehicular networks. This workshop aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the transition from current V2X systems to next-generation vehicular communications in the 5G and beyond era. We welcome innovative research contributions that address the technical, architectural, and societal challenges of designing, deploying, and optimizing future V2X-enabled transportation systems. CSS is rapidly evolving due to the popularity of online social networking. With the advent of ubiquitous sensing and networking, future social networks involve cyber-physical interactions among associated social attributes. Cyber-Physical-Social Systems (CPSS) are known as the integration between CPS and CSS. The 18th IEEE International Conference on Cyber, Physical and Social Computing (CPSCom 2025) will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan, China, October 30- November 02, 2025, will provide a high-profile leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-the-art advances and innovations. We seek submissions of papers addressing new techniques, introducing innovative methodologies, and proposing new CPS, CSS, and CPSS research directions.
