Welcome to the 13th edition of Wireless Days, an international conference
technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). In
2025, the conference will be held in person for the first time in the city
of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). The
event will bring together prominent researchers and industry experts in
wireless networks worldwide, offering a unique opportunity for presenting
industrial and research activities and a rich exchange of ideas among
highly engaged participants.
Every edition of Wireless Days creates an inspiring environment to discuss
theoretical and experimental advancements, innovative systems, prototypes,
case studies, and technological progress in communication infrastructures
and wireless networks. In 2025, the conference will continue its tradition
of offering a diverse technical program, covering key topics for the
technical and scientific development of wireless communications.
The Wireless Days 2025 program will be organized as a single track,
structured into sessions addressing the most relevant and innovative topics
in wireless networks and communications. Each session is dedicated to a
specific theme, promoting in-depth discussions and presenting research and
development results.
*** Topics of interest ***
This Conference aims to gather together novel approaches for providing
wireless sensor networks with innovative solutions in terms of
communication protocols, models, simulations, and case studies.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Ad hoc and sensor networks;
- Connected and autonomous vehicles in heterogeneous environments;
- Internet of Things (IoT) and smart solutions;
- Next-generation mobile communications (5G, 6G, and WiFi-ng);
- Models and simulations for wireless networks; and
- Applications of artificial intelligence in wireless networks.
*** Submission guidelines ***
*****************************
Authors are invited to submit papers describing original, previously
unpublished work not currently under review by other conferences or
journals. Papers submitted to WD 2025 will be evaluated based on

*Overview*
IT/OT integration bridges the gap between Information Technology (IT)
systems, which manage data and business processes, and Operational
Technology (OT) systems, which control and monitor industrial operations.
It is a foundational element to drive digital transformation across
industries. This convergence enables real-time data sharing and
collaboration between enterprise-level applications and physical machinery,
leading to smarter decision-making, improved efficiency, enhanced
productivity, greater operational transparency, and enhanced safety.
Developing middleware for integrated solutions that bridge the digital and
physical worlds unlocks the full potential of the Industrial Internet of
Things (IIoT) and paves the way for smarter, more resilient operations.
Despite challenges like legacy systems and differing priorities, successful
IT/OT integration is a cornerstone of modern, data-driven industrial
environments.
The primary goal of this workshop is to address the challenges and present
advanced and innovative algorithms, models, techniques, architectures,
specifications, tools, and frameworks that bring diverse middleware
technologies at the interaction of Information Technology (IT) and

attacks to design novel and efficient security mechanisms.
This workshop will focus on IoT attacks and defenses, and seek original
submissions that discuss either practical or theoretical solutions to
identify IoT vulnerabilities and IoT security mechanisms. Topics of
interest include, but are not limited to the ones listed below.
- Malware and unwanted software for IoT
- Vulnerability analysis and reverse engineering for IoT
- IoT security and privacy
- IoT forensic techniques
- Usable security and privacy for IoT
- Intrusion detection and prevention for IoT
- Cyber intelligence techniques for IoT
- IoT infrastructures and mitigation techniques

The 2nd Workshop on Integrated Wireless Networking and Computing (IWNC)
aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the
intersection of advanced wireless communication and network-centric
computing. As modern wireless networks, such as IoT, Wi-Fi, and 5G/6G, grow
in scale and complexity, new challenges emerge in their design,
optimization, and operation. Addressing these challenges increasingly
requires integrated approaches that combine communication protocols with
intelligent computing capabilities, both at the edge and within the network
itself.
Key to this integration are techniques that jointly optimize multiple
network functions, such as resource allocation, scheduling, and link
adaptation, while taking advantage of AI/ML-assisted methods to make
networks more adaptive, efficient, and autonomous. In parallel, the rise of
In-Network Computing (INC), enabled by advances in programmable data planes
and languages like P4, is reshaping the way computation and data processing
are distributed across the network fabric.
IWNC welcomes original contributions that explore synergies between
wireless networking and computing, including but not limited to:
* AI/ML-driven optimization in wireless systems
* Joint design of communication and computation functions
* Programmable wireless networks and smart NICs
* In-Network Computing architectures and applications
* Cross-layer and cross-domain design approaches
* Early-stage research ideas and system prototypes
This workshop fosters discussion and collaboration across the wireless,
networking, and computing communities, encouraging innovative perspectives
and interdisciplinary solutions.

SCOPE
PerCom 2026 solicits research contributions in all areas pertinent to
pervasive computing and communications, especially those that cross
traditional research boundaries. In particular, PerCom targets
contributions in:
* Advances in pervasive systems and infrastructures: middleware systems and
services; data engineering for pervasive computing; cloud, fog and edge
computing; integrations of smartphones in pervasive experiences;
applications of device-to-device coordination.
* Theories, models, and algorithms: context modeling & reasoning; adaptive
computing; activity & emotion recognition; programming paradigms; applied
deep/federated/decentralized machine learning; causal learning; cognitive

Contributions can be analytical, empirical, technological, methodological,
or a combination thereof. Papers reporting strong systems engineering
contributions backed by solid and appropriate evaluations are strongly
encouraged.
Contributions should be novel (minor improvements over the state of the art
will not be considered), should demonstrate a significant impact (i.e.,
they should address an outstanding problem), and should be rigorous.
Note that the impact of the contributions should be demonstrated in the
context of pervasive computing and communications applications.
READ BEFORE SUBMITTING
PerCom 2026 will follow a double-blind review process. Authors are expected
to make a good-faith effort to anonymize their submissions. For detailed
submission instructions, please check the www.percom.org
<http://www.percom.org/> website.
PerCom 2026 introduces a rebuttal phase to further improve the quality of
the review process. Authors are offered the opportunity to respond to the
initial reviews. Particularly, they are encouraged to briefly clarify
points, explain misunderstandings, etc.
PerCom would not be PerCom without its community. For this reason, we are
looking for ways to strengthen the community and encourage meaningful
interactions.
To this end, all accepted papers must be presented in person by one of the
authors, in addition to having an associated full registration. Failure to
comply with this requirement will result in the exclusion of the paper from
the final proceedings and from the IEEE Digital Library, and the paper will
not be eligible for the Best Paper Award.
IMPORTANT DATES
* Paper registration in EDAS: September 12, 2025, AoE
* Submission via EDAS: September 19, 2025, AoE
* 1st stage notification: November 28, 2025, AoE
* Rebuttal submission: December 5, 2025, AoE
