==================================================================================
Welcome to the 30th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC).
The first IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC) was held in
1995 in response to the growing interaction between the fields of computers
and communications. Since then, ISCC takes place annually, usually in the
Mediterranean region, and in locations such as Egypt, Greece, France,
Tunisia, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Italy, and Brazil. In 2025, the
Symposium will take place in Bologna, Italy.
ISCC sessions will include presentations on new research results and
tutorials. Papers describing original work are invited in any of the
computer and communications areas mentioned in the Call for Papers.
Accepted papers will be included in the ISCC 2025 conference proceedings,
which will be subject to independent peer-review procedures for quality,
and may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
Merit, relevance, and originality will guide paper acceptance. Best Paper
Awards and Best Student Paper Awards will be presented.

==================================================================================

*Fourth International Workshop on Green and Sustainable Networking
(GreenNet 2025)
*/In conjunction with IEEE International Conference on Communication (ICC)
2025, 8–12 June 2025 // Montreal, Canada/
Energy efficiency and sustainability have become of paramount importance in
all human activities, including the information and communication
technology sector. The trade-off between availability, resiliency,
programmability, and energy efficiency of networks and services is a key
challenge for the next decade and monitoring methods and metrics for power
consumption, energy efficiency, as well as sustainability are important, as
well as benchmarking of solutions based on well-defined KPIs. For that
reason, the goal of the GreenNet Workshop is to address emerging concepts
and challenges related to energy efficiency and sustainability for
networked services. An improved sustainability in all parts of the network
in a time of increasing AI/ML usage, evolution of different novel network
access technologies, the spreading of edge computing and micro-data centers
and the demand in computational and data transport capacity across the
edge-cloud continuum is essential.

All the submissions must be formatted according to the two-column IEEE
proceedings template. IEEE provides corresponding formatting templates at
IEEE proceedings template
(ttps://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html). Make sure to
use the conference mode of the template, i.e., LaTeX users must use the
conference option of the IEEEtran document class. While the submission
format is the same, the goals for Posters/WIP and Demos are different:

As cellular networks progress towards 5G-Advanced and 6G, the Radio Access
Network (RAN) domain is undergoing a rapid transformation. Initiatives such
as the O-RAN Alliance that promote the Open RAN movement are jointly
shaping the future of access networks across industry and academia, while
open-source RAN software solutions such as the OpenAirInterface and srsRAN
projects, as well as open-source RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC)
implementations such as FlexRIC and OSC-RIC, have made it possible to
involve a much larger set of stakeholders than was previously possible.
Buoyed by the key tenets of softwarization, disaggregation, and
programmability, the RAN is evolving from a monolithic black-box entity to
a more disaggregated, open, and programmable ecosystem. This evolution has
also brought forth the possibility of rich third-party support for RAN
assurance and control, driven by advances in artificial intelligence (AI)
and machine learning (ML) through standard protocols. At the same time, the
rapid adoption of AI should be closely coupled with guard-rails that ensure
trustworthiness, resilience and explainability of such models in production
systems. Therefore, while the RAN is poised to usher in a new era of
openness and innovation, much work remains to be done within the domains of
architectures, interfaces, algorithms, and standardization.
To that end, this workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers and
professionals across academia, government, and industries, to exchange
ideas, present new results, and provide future visions concerning
next-generation open and programmable RANs. Submissions are solicited for
both regular technical papers as well as posters and demos. Topics of
interest, for the technical, poster, and demo sessions, include, but are
not limited to:
• Systems-level solutions for 6G RANs, e.g., new protocols, interfaces,
service models, and control/assurance applications
• AI-native RAN
• Programmable 6G RAN architectures, e.g., RAN-core convergence, etc.
• Novel RAN compute paradigms
• RAN performance acceleration
• Evolution of RAN control and assurance towards 6G
• Mobility management in 6G Programmable RANs
• Next-generation RAN disaggregation
• Intelligent RAN slicing– management, orchestration, and control
• Seamless management of multiple RATs
• Non-terrestrial integration, e.g., low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite
access, within next-generation RANs
• Distributed orchestration for programmable RANs
• Security and Privacy for the RAN
• Machine learning, e.g., reinforcement learning, transfer learning,
and federated learning, for 6G RANs
• AI use cases enabled and optimized by 6G programmable RANs
• Semantic communications in 6G programmable RANs
• Seamless integration of optical, edge, and other emerging technologies
*Submission Procedure*
Submissions are solicited for both regular technical papers as well as
posters and demos. Papers must be formatted in the standard IEEE two-column
format that is used by the INFOCOM 2025 main conference and must not
exceed, including references, six pages in length for regular technical
papers and two pages in length for poster and demo papers. Two additional
pages are permitted for regular technical papers, subject to mandatory
over-length page charges. All submitted papers will go through a peer
review process, and all accepted papers that are presented by one of the
authors at the workshop will be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2025
proceedings and IEEE Xplore. All accepted regular technical papers,
posters, and demos will be considered as candidates for the NG-OPERA 2025
Best Paper Award and Best Poster/Demo Award, respectively. Please follow
