The Infocom 2006 Student Workshop organizing committee is encouraging the submission of abstracts describing on going thesis research in all areas of computer networking and data communications, (for a list of topics, please refer to the Infocom 2006 call for papers.)
The Infocom Student Workshop is a forum for graduate student all over the world to have the opportunity to interact with their peers and publicize and get feedback on their work, exchange experiences, make contact, and learn what other students are doing in the Networking area world wide. Students not only will be able to learn about the work from other students but also interact with well established researchers in the field who will participate in the workshop as mentors and organizers. The workshop will be a day-long program organized in such a way to promote lively discussions. A limited number of travel grants will be available.
Student authors are asked to submit 1-2 page abstracts before the deadline below, using Infocom 2006 format. Abstracts should be submitted electronically at https://msrcmt.research.microsoft.com/SW2006/CallForPapers.aspx in PDF format. Submissions will be reviewed by the program committee, from which a number of abstracts will be selected for inclusion in the workshop program. The workshop abstracts will appear in the INFOCOM CDROM.
