Dear Colleagues,
Please find below the CfP for Workshop on Connected Intelligence for IoT networks co-located with IEEE VTC 2020-Spring, Antwerp, Belgium, 25 May 2019
*Scope:*The Internet of Things (IoT) aims to connect objects through the use of communications and networking, allowing them to exchange data and collect information for system monitoring, analysis, prediction, automation, tracking, among others. There has been considerable growth in the number of connected objects from around 12 billion in 2015 to as high as 50 billion in 2020 with a prediction of 500 billion in 2025. A key reason for this high level of growth is that there are many application areas in which the IoT can be a key enabler, for example, connected and autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicle, and smart cities. These applications can benefit from added analysis and intelligence derived from the collected data, where this intelligence refers to the use of machine learning techniques. However, there are many issues that need to be resolved to achieve the envisioned potential of combining IoT and machine learning, including data processing and analytics, development of standards and communication protocols, system architectures, privacy and security issues as well as the creation of new services and applications.
*Topic of Interests*Applications of IoT connected intelligence in connected vehicles and Internet of Vehicles (IoV) Applications of IoT connected intelligence in smart cities Application of IoT connected intelligence in connected unmanned aircraft vehicles Wireless Sensor Networks and connected objects Edge/cloud computing for IoT connected intelligence SDN architecture and programmability in IoT connected intelligence Machine learning and IoT connected intelligence Context-Aware IoT Services for intelligent systems Data analytics for IoT connected intelligence Cognitive Radio in Wireless Sensor Networks Control, Modeling, Simulation and experiments for connectivity in IoT networks Testing, evaluation and verification IoT and Sensor Networks for Rural development Safe, Secure and Infotainment Connectivity Authentication and secure communication
