Call for Papers: A Special Issue of Vehicular Communications on “Security and Privacy in Internet of Vehicles”
Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is an important part of intelligent transportation system. It enables information sharing and the gathering of information on vehicles/autonomous vehicles, roads, and their surroundings through V2X communications. IoV faces various security and privacy chal-lenges, for example, various types of attacks including jamming, tampering and eavesdropping. This special issue aims to attract contributions from academic and industrial organizations ad-dressing emerging security and privacy issues in IoV.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): •Security framework of IoV •Privacy-preserving data aggregation •Trust and reputation in IoV •Secure routing in IoV •Secure and privacy-preserving V2X communications •Secure vehicular fog computing •Security in cloud based IoV •Access control in IoV •Vulnerability scanning technologies for IoV •Intrusion detection technologies for IoV •Blockchain and the IoV •Accountability in IoV

Submission Format and Guidelines All submitted papers must be clearly written in excellent English and contain only original work, which has not been published by or is currently under review for any other journal or conference. A detailed submission guideline is available as “Guide to Authors” at https://www.elsevier.com/journals/vehicular-communications/2214-2096/guide-f.... All manuscripts and any supplementary material should be submitted through the paper submis-sion system at https://www.evise.com/profile/#/VEHCOM/login. The authors must select as “SI –SP-IoV” when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process.
