The main objectives in this workshop are to address novel research results in the areas of secure and reliable multimedia communications for emergency services in heterogeneous wireless networks, and emergency risk management and coordination systems thus enabling the delivery of emergency services to the end-user in a coordinated and optimized way.
The workshop is organised by the PEACE European FP7 project. Authors are invited to submit original paper contributions including, but not limited, to the following areas: Resource and Mobility Management in Cooperative Network. P2P Multimedia for autonomic wireless infrastructures. Security mechanisms and schemes in cooperative networks. Dynamic Resource Management and bandwidth assignment for multimedia in heterogeneous wireless networks. Cross-layer and Cross-System optimization strategies for wireless multimedia User and device location in next generation networks. IMS for Multimedia emergency services in next generation networks. Emergency management architectures for next generation networks. Emergency risk management and coordination systems.
Submissions should be full-length papers of up to 5 pages (including all figures and references) formatted according to ACM publication template
