The rapid expansion of wireless services from voice communication to high performance multimedia communication in recent years is an indication that significant value is placed on portable multimedia applications as key innovations for both academia and industry. This workshop is intended to provide a forum for presenting, exchanging and discussing the most recent advances in different aspects of wireless multimedia networking and applications. In particular, this workshop will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and research students to study the special problems and challenges of multimedia mobile and wireless environments. Original papers/posters are now invited for submission to WMTA09.

Submission Guidelines:
Authors please prepare your PDF files in single-spaced, double-column pages by using the IEEE LaTex or Microsoft Word templates. Please find the templates at www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html Please note that the paper length should not exceed 6 pages, including text, figures, tables, references, and appendices. The front page must contain an abstract of about 150 words, 3-5 keywords, name and affiliation of author(s) as well as the corresponding authors e-mail and postal address. All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS (http://www.edas.info/newPaper.php?c=7857&track=7531).
Submitted papers must present original, previously unpublished, complete research, not currently under review by another conference/workshop or journal. All papers will be reviewed and accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings, published in IEEE Explorer. Authors of selected outstanding papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for consideration of publication in a special issue.
