CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The http://www.comsoc.org/IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) and the http://www.iec.org/International Engineering Consortium (IEC) cordially invite you to participate in the http://www.ieee-entnet.org/2006International Conference on Enterprise Networking and Services 2006 (EntNet 2006)
Following the previous successful conferences held in Atlanta and Chicago, EntNet 2006 will present an excellent opportunity for enterprise networking and services professionals to examine the key enterprise networking business issues, learn new enabling technologies, and evaluate solutions for improving the enterprise operations and the quality of delivered services. The success of modern economies is profoundly based on enterprises able to deliver a variety of cost-effective, innovative, and secure services. Future economic expansion, continuing development of advanced technology solutions in optical and wireless broadband communication, as well as heightened demand for homeland security solutions, are giving strong impetus for rapid introduction of a new generation of enterprise networking and services solutions. The conference chairs invite proposals for panel sessions and short courses in, but not limited to, the following areas:
· SoIP: Services over IP for the enterprise · Enterprise vertical market applications · Enterprise wireless strategies · e-Commerce networks and applications · Optical network implications on the enterprise · Enterprise data centers & storage area networks · Voice recognition applications · VoIP and VoWiFi technologies & applications · Integrated voice, data & video services · QoS & SLA within enterprise boundaries · Next generation access technologies · Virtual enterprises · Digital homes · Smart enterprises · Network and applications security · Security policies and governance
Panel proposals should contain the panel title, one page abstract, panel chair name and affiliation, and list of potential panelists. Each panel session is 1.5 hours and has 4-5 panelists including the chair. Panel proposals and inquiries should be e-mailed to Lundy Lewis at mailto:lundylewis@comsoc.orglundylewis@comsoc.org.
