Authors are invited to submit position papers to the 11th ACM SIGOPS European Workshop reporting on original research related to the design, implementation, and analysis of computer systems. We seek contributions from all fields of systems practice. Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to:
Fault tolerance Security Scalability Performance Ubiquitous computing Mobile computing Power management File systems Sensor Networks I/O architectures Overlay networks Multimedia systems Self-managing systems Hardware/software interaction
To ensure a productive workshop environment, attendance is limited to about 60 participants who are active in the field. Each potential participant should submit a position paper. Participants will be invited based on the originality, technical merit and topical relevance of their submissions, as well as the likelihood that the ideas expressed in their submissions will lead to insightful technical discussions at the workshop. Please do not submit abbreviated versions of journal or conference papers.
Submissions will be done electronically. Detailed instructions for the submission process can be found at the conference web site. Submitted papers must be no longer than five (5) Letter or A4 pages in a typeface no smaller than 10 point. The page limit includes everything: references, title page, figures, appendices, etc.
