4th Workshop on Applications and Services in Wireless Networks
Boston, Massachusetts, USA August 9-11, 2004
ASWN 2004 is the fourth workshop on Applications and Services in Wireless Networks. The previous events were held in France and Switzerland, and in 2004 the workshop will take place in the United States for the first time. ASWN 2004, to be held in Boston, aims at investigating new developments in wireless networks focusing on applications and services.
The workshop will provide three-day presentations of invited and regular papers from academia and industry. Authors are invited to submit full technical papers on both theoretical and practical aspects of leveraging wireless and mobile environments. Tutorial proposals are also requested. All papers, including invited papers, will go through a thorough review process.

PAPERS
Prospective authors are invited to submit for review, papers that neither have been previously published nor are under review by another conference or journal. Priority will be given to original contributions describing recent and innovative research results or developments in the scope of the workshop.
Papers must be written in English, using font no smaller than 10 points and not exceed 10 pages. Only PDF and PostScript formats will be accepted. All submissions will be handled electronically. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Additionally, the best papers of the workshop will be considered for publication in a special issue of Elsevier's Computer Communications Journal.

ORGANIZATION
The workshop is sponsored by IEEE and its Communications Society (IEEE Technical Committee on Personal Communications), and WWRF-WG2 on Applications and Services.
The workshop is organized by the Web and InterNetworking Group (WING) from the Computer Science Department at Boston University. The workshop will be held on the BU campus.
