Betreff: [TCCC-ANNOUNCE] ACM MobiSys 2018 Call for Posters - 2 days to deadline: April 5 AoE
******* ACM MobiSys 2018 CALL FOR POSTERS *******
*** Deadline extended, only 2 days to the deadline: April 5 ***
10 - 25 June 2018, Munich
https://www.sigmobile.org/mobisys/2018/cfposters
MobiSys 2018 continues the tradition to seek proposals for posters
describing novel work not published before on mobile systems,
applications and services. Posters will be presented during a specially
designated session of the conference. The poster session is meant to
introduce new or ongoing work and provide opportunities for authors to
interact directly with conference attendees. Posters are especially
suited for presenting controversial research directions that may
generate discussion, or promising ideas not yet validated through
extensive evaluation.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Experience with mobile applications, networks and systems
- Innovative mobile, mobile sensing, and mobile crowdsourcing apps
- Tools for building and measuring mobile systems
- Innovative wearable or mobile devices
- Novel software architectures for mobile devices
- Data management for mobile applications
- Infrastructure support for mobile computing
- System-level energy management for mobile devices
- Operating systems for mobile devices
- Support for mobile social networking and mobile Web
- Security and privacy in mobile systems
- Systems for location and context sensing and awareness
- Mobile computing support for pervasive computing
- Vehicular and robotic systems
- Systems and networking support for virtual or augmented reality
- Applications of mobile systems in health, sustainability, and other
domains
- Non-traditional topics that bring new perspectives to mobile computing
[Submission information]
Poster submissions must include an extended abstract no longer than one
8.5x11-inch page, including all figures and references. This abstract
should be formatted in two columns, single-spaced, with a font no
smaller than 10-point. The abstract title should begin with "Poster:".
Optionally, submissions may also include an electronic copy of the
poster. Please note that easels will be provided at the conference for
3x4 feet posters (approximately 0.75x1.0 meters), and the posters should
be sized appropriately. Submissions must be in Adobe PDF format. Poster
proposals should be submitted through the following URL:
https://mobisys18posters.hotcrp.com/. Submissions can use the template
http://conferences.sigcomm.org/sigcomm/2013/misc/sig-alternate-10pt.cls.
The abstracts of accepted posters will be posted on the conference
website and will appear in the conference proceedings. At least one
author of an accepted poster is expected to register for the conference
and present the poster in person.

review committee will select the winner at the conference.
