*Invitation to submit in PerFail 2025, co-located with IEEE Percom 2025*
Not all research leads to fruitful results; trying new ways or methods may surpass the state of the art, but sometimes the hypothesis is not proven, or the improvement is insignificant. But failure to succeed is not a failure to progress. The 3rd workshop on "Negative Results in Pervasive Computing" (PerFail) to be hosted together with the next PerCom (March 17-21, 2025 - Washington DC, USA). All areas of pervasive computing, networking, and systems research are considered.
--> SUBMIT your 6-page paper by Nov 17 athttps://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=percom2025 https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=percom2025

*Submission deadline: November 17, 2024*
The PerFail workshop aims to create a platform for sharing insights, experiences, and lessons learned when conducting research (that did not become a success story) in the area of pervasive computing, systems, and networking. You can find our report from previous iterations here (https://bit.ly/percom-failure https://bit.ly/percom-failure) and past accepted papers/programs here (https://perfail-workshop.github.io/2025/#section-previous https://perfail-workshop.github.io/2025/#section-previous).
Please circulate the call with your students and colleagues and help us nurture a healthy failure culture in our research community.
Best regards,
