Collocated with IEEE HPSR 2020, this workshop aims to provide a friendly and open environment to practitioners, academicians, and scientist for dissemination, discussion, and exchange of ideas on different topics of Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) and Internet of Thing (IoT), and their applications. The workshop welcomes original in-depth studies and discussions within the scope of the workshop, where position papers that propose new paradigms are encouraged. Papers about disruptive concepts and mind-challenging concepts are particularly welcome.
Accepted and presented papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library and workshop proceedings and considered for HPSR Best Paper Award.
Also, accepted and presented papers first authored by a student will be considered for HPSR Best Student Paper Award.
The workshop seeks original manuscripts in the scope of the workshop, but not limited to:
• Next Generation Low Power Wide Area Networks • Nano-networks and ultra-dense networks. • IoT and machine learning. • Architecture of LPWAN • Machine learning for Internet of things (IoT) and massive connectivity. • Machine learning for ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC). • Distributed learning approaches for distributed communications problems • Deep Learning and Policy and resource management & optimization • Blockchain in IoT • Security issues in LPWAN • Optimal LPWAN deployment • Physical and link layer enhancements • Traffic models for massive network deployment • Simulation of LPWANs • Scalability and reliability • Capacity evaluation • Cross-layer design and optimization • LoRaWAN Implementation and Evaluation • Applications of Internet of “Other” Things: Medical Things, Battlefield Things
Manuscripts can be up to 6-page in length and they must comply with IEEE format as required by IEEE HPSR 2020. Manuscript preparation guidelines: https://hpsr2020.ieee-hpsr.org/authors/
