[We apologize in advance if you receive multiple copies of this message] IEEE ICNP 2013: 21st IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols Goettingen, Germany -- October 7-11, 2013
http://icnp13.informatik.uni-goettingen.de/home.html Call for Posters/Demos
ICNP 2013 will hold a poster and demo session to showcase "work-in-progress". The poster session has been a successful regular event at ICNP in past years and has attracted many bright ideas that have developed into mature conference and journal papers over time. Additionally, for the first time, we will be organizing a demo session along with it. These sessions will provide a great chance for students and researchers to obtain feedback on their ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. In the past, these sessions have been very well attended. While posters and demos are welcome from everyone, for the poster sessions we particularly encourage on-going work in which the primary contributor (i.e., first author) is a student. Extended (2 page) abstracts of the posters or Extended (2 page) description of the demo, which must be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) only, will be reviewed by members of the Poster/Demo Session Committee. The abstracts of accepted posters and demos will be included in the proceedings and in IEEE eXplore.
At the conference, posters/demos must be presented by one of the co-authors. Posters submitted to this call for papers should contain unpublished original ideas and not be abbreviations of published papers. Note that acceptance and presentation of a poster at ICNP 2013 will not prevent authors from publishing a more complete version of their ideas in future conferences and journals.
Authors of selected demos are expected to send an email to the chairs (icnp13postersdemos@gmail.com) with a list of requirements to ensure that it can be arranged.

Registration
At least one of the poster/demo co-authors must be registered for the conference to present the poster/demo. Students may register for the conference at the student rate for presenting posters/demo (if they are not presenting a full paper in the conference which requires a full registration).
What the final poster should look like?
We define a poster to be A0 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size), i.e 841mm × 1189mm or 33.11in × 46.81in, on which you can affix visually appealing material that describes your research. You can arrange the space and orient the poster either horizontally or vertically. You should prepare the best material (visually appealing and succinct) that effectively communicates your research problem, techniques, results, and what is novel and important about your work. You are responsible for printing your poster and bringing it to the conference site. We will provide stands for you to mount your poster materials on. For questions: Email icnp13postersdemos@gmail.com.
