[Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this announcement] ============================================================================== CoNEXT 2020 Call for Posters The 16th International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies Barcelona, Spain. December 1-4, 2020 https://conferences2.sigcomm.org/co-next/2020/#!/posters ============================================================================== The CoNEXT 2020 conference will include a poster session. The poster session is an opportunity for researchers to discuss their early/ongoing work with CoNEXT attendees. The poster session is not a publication venue, but a forum for the exchange of ideas with peers from the community. The 2-page submission in ACM Proceedings format (see below) will be included in the CoNEXT 2020 conference proceedings. We invite submissions on a wide range of networking topics. The list of topics includes (in alphabetical order): - Big Data platforms with applications to network management, security, measurements - Content distribution and caching, e.g., CDN, peer-to-peer, overlays - Design, analysis, and evaluation of network architectures - Experience and lessons learned by deploying large-scale networked systems - Internet measurement and modeling - Internet economics and policy - Innovative uses of network data beyond communication - Mobile and Wireless Network Protocols and Applications - Networking aspects of datacenters and cloud computing - Networking aspects of operating systems and virtualization architectures - Network aspects of Web, Video, and Virtual Reality applications - Network control and management, including SDN, NFV and network programmability - Network, transport, and application-layer protocols - Networking aspects of ubiquitous computing, including Internet-of-Things and Smart Cities - Networking aspects of online social networks - Reliability and availability of networks, protocols, and applications - Reproducibility - Routing and traffic engineering - Security and privacy aspects of network applications and protocols - Topics at the intersection of energy-efficient computing and networking As a poster session, we favor early work of interest to the community, even if not yet completed or if the contribution itself may not warrant a full paper. We expect to take as many posters as the venue can support, with the goal of sharing early results rather than providing complete work. Submissions must be for original, unpublished work. Like the main conference, this year's poster session will also take place online. The authors of accepted posters will be required to present their work online during the poster session virtually. We will be using Mozilla’s Hubs social VR platform to host the live poster session. Each poster will be presented in a separate virtual room. Participants can join the Hubs rooms from any web browser, using 2D screens or immersive VR displays (for more information on hubs, visit https://hubs.mozilla.com). Submission ======= Submissions must not exceed 2 pages in ACM SIG Conference Proceedings format, including references. See http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template (from the zip files provided, please select the SIGCONF version). Submissions must be in pdf format. All the submissions should be double-blind and will be peer-reviewed. Per the anonymity guidelines, you must remove any author names. The submissions website is available at https://conext20posters.hotcrp.com Ethical concerns ========== Posters have the same ethical considerations as general CoNEXT talks/papers (see the general call-for-papers as a reference). Important Dates ========== Submission: 1st October 2020 Notification: 12th October 2020 Camera ready: 21st October 2020 Contact us ======= The poster session chairs are Kanchana Thilakarathna and Matteo Varvello.
