(Information on HPSR2004 will soon be available at http://hpsr2004.asu.edu In the meantime, one might check out http://www.tlc-networks.polito.it/HPSR2003/ for information about HPSR2003)
Following the successes in Kobe, Japan and in Torino, Italy, HPSR2004 will be help in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The scope of the High Performance Switching and Routing (HPSR) Workshop is focused on the technology of high-speed switches and routers, including the architectural and algorithmic aspects of high-performance networks. HPSR 2004 will comprise technical sessions for the presentation of novel research results, panel sessions for the discussion of hot topics, and tutorials presented by leading international experts. We encourage submission of high-quality papers reporting original work in both theoretical and experimental research areas. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: - Protection and Recovery - IP over Optical Networks - Routing Protocols - MPLS and GMPLS - Traffic Engineering - Quality of Service - High Speed Packet Processors - Mobile and Ad-hoc Networking - Sensor Networks - High Performance Switch and Routers - Network Management and Operations - Pricing and Charging - Performance Evaluation - Traffic Measurement
Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee members and other experts active in the field to ensure high quality and relevance. Authors of accepted papers must attend the workshop to present their contributions. Submitted manuscripts must not exceed 5 pages in two-column IEEE Transactions style.
