IPSN2021 Call for Posters and Demos The 20th ACM/IEEE The International Conference on Information Processing in Sensor Networks (IPSN 2021)
====================================================================== May 18-21, 2021, Virtual Event IPSN'21 is part of CPS-IoT Week 2021, co-located with HSCC, ICCPS, IoTDI and RTAS. https://ipsn.acm.org/2021/ ======================================================================
The ACM/IEEE Information Processing in Sensor Networks (IPSN) 2021 conference welcomes exciting demonstrations of novel technologies, applications, and hardware as well as posters showing promising early work. We seek participation from both industry and academia for demonstrations and posters. The selection will be based on a short abstract, evaluated based on technical merit and innovation as well as the potential to stimulate interesting discussions and exchange of ideas at the conference.
The demo and poster session is a great forum to share your early-stage work with a broader audience. Accepted abstracts will appear in the regular conference proceedings. At least one author of every accepted demonstration or poster abstract is required to register and participate in the conference.
We welcome all topics that align with the IPSN conference topics of interest. More detailed information about this may be found here: https://ipsn.acm.org/2021/cfp.html
*** Posters ***
Poster abstracts should report on research work where at least some preliminary results are available, but they need not necessarily describe completed contributions. All poster abstract submissions must strictly adhere to the formatting guidelines specified below. Authors of accepted poster abstracts will be given a chance to present their work to the conference audience and engage in discussions with conference attendees. Authors of accepted posters will be invited to submit a 1 min teaser video of their work together with the camera-ready version of the abstract. The video will be available to the conference attendees during and after the conference.
*** Demos ***
Demo abstracts should describe both the technology being showcased as well as the user experience of the demo, if available and can be arranged remotely. All demo abstract submissions must strictly adhere to the formatting guidelines specified below. The authors of accepted demos will be invited to submit two video files: a 1 min teaser and a 3-5 min more detailed demonstration together with the camera-ready version of the abstract. The video will be available to the conference attendees during and after the conference.
*** Submission and Formatting Instructions ***
Abstract submissions should be no more than 2 pages and must follow a double-column format. All figures, appendices, and references must fit within this limit. Reviewing is single-blind and submissions should list author names on the front page. Papers must be typeset using the 2017 ACM Master article template. Detailed instructions can be found here: https://ipsn.acm.org/2021/posters.html
