Dear colleague, We are very pleased to announce the

IEEE WCNC 2020 Workshop on Small Data Networks

intended to serve as a venue that unifies the views of information theorists, communication protocol engineers and wireless networks designers. The workshop will be co-located with IEEE WCNC 2020, taking place in Seoul, South Korea, on April 6-9, 2020. It will cover topics as

- Fundamental limits on communications for small data sets - Wireless access protocols for vehicular networks - Wireless access protocols for the IoT, M2M communications and large-scale wireless sensor networks - Efficient access schemes for very short-packet communications - Access protocols for low-latency, ultra-reliable communications - Signal processing for successive interference cancellation in MAC protocols - Innovative techniques for 5G and IoT radio access networks - Channel coding and modulation for sporadic transmission over wireless channels - Random access protocols for real-time applicationss - Error control coding for ultra-reliable communications - Network coding and physical-layer network coding in multiple access schemes - Energy efficient MAC-PHY spatial processing - Channel estimation and user detection in massive access protocols

Accepted papers will appear in IEEEXplore.

Important dates: - paper submission deadline: December 31, 2019 - notification of acceptance: January 31, 2020 - final paper due: February 15, 2020
