The 28th edition of the European Wireless Conference (EW 2023) will be held in Rome, Italy, October 2-4, 2023.

The paper submission deadline is June 16th, 2023.

The proceedings will be published on IEEE Xplore.

The main theme of EW 2023 is “6G Driving a Sustainable Growth”. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Network programmability for wireless: Software defined networking, network function virtualization, mobile edge computing, network slicing, distributed caching, multi-tenancy, cloud computing

- Tactile internet, ultra-low latency communications, ultra-reliable communications

- Non Terrestrial Networks, AI and Machine Learning for three-dimensional networks, SDN/NFV for integrated satellite-aerial-terrestrial networks, Very/Ultra High Throughput Satellites. Optical feeder links, Massive M2M/IoT over satellites, Mega Constellations, NTN Standardisation within 3GPP, Big Data analytics over satellite and aerial platforms.

- Internet of Things, machine-type communications, Industry 4.0

- Fundamental limits, information and communication theory for wireless

- Millimeter-wave, visible-light, wired-wireless integration

- Applications to wireless communications of Artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, Federated Learning, neural networks, big data analytics, information processing

- Security and Privacy, Physical-Layer Security, Cyber-Physical Systems, Secure solutions for SDN and NFV, Homomorphic encryption;

- 6G Verticals and Services

EW 2023 will feature world-class keynote speakers, and special sessions consisting of oral presentations. Dedicated tutorial sessions will be directed to young researchers and PhD students.

EW 2023 is committed to the highest publication and ethical standards through a rigorous single-blind peer-review process. Submitted manuscripts must be original and not be published or under review elsewhere. Papers must not infringe any copyright or third party right.
