On June 24 and 25th, the University of St. Thomas and The Open Group will host a free workshop on standards in Minneapolis for senior business executives. Four panel sessions have been put together to consider the subject of "Open Source - Open Standards: The Business, Legal, and Technical Challenges Ahead" as well as the ethical and social implications. The goal is to have very brief introductory presentations from the panelists so that we can get the maximum time for questions, discussion and interaction from a select audience. The aim is to capture and publish the issues that are discussed in order to raise the industry awareness of the benefits of Open Source.
