may I draw your attention to the track on optimization and management of complex and networked systems at the

52. International Scientific Colloquium (52. IWK) Sept. 10-14th, 2007 at the Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany http://www.iwk.tu-ilmenau.de/

The aim of the track is to bring together experts in optimisation from different application areas, e.g. communication networks, electrical power supply, water and gas supply, logistics, automation and transportation, to share their ideas and to exploit synergies. Special focus will be on

* Optimisation Methods for Complex Systems * Model Predictive Control * Networked Control Systems * Sensor Networks * Management Systems and Assist Systems * Energy System Modelling and Simulation * Communication System Modelling and Simulation * Production Process Modelling and Simulation

The deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended to March 31st.
