====Call for Papers====
The 3rd Age of Information Workshop in conjunction with IEEE INFOCOM 2020, Beijing, China, April 27, 2020
https://infocom2020.ieee-infocom.org/age-information-workshop
The Age of Information (AoI) is a new concept that serves as a performance metric for characterizing the freshness of information, which has been shown effective and powerful in numerous applications, in particular in cyber-physical systems and/or Internet-of-Things. Recent research advances on AoI have shown that many well-known design principles (e.g., for providing high throughput and low latency) that lead to the success of traditional data networks may need to be re-examined for enhancing information freshness in emerging real-time applications. Following the big success of the first two workshops, the 3rd Age of Information Workshop (AoI Workshop) will be held in Beijing on April 27, 2020, in conjunction with IEEE INFOCOM 2020. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Age of Information Analysis and Optimization
- Age-based Source and Channel Coding - Age of Information and Information Theory
- Real-time Signal Tracking and Estimation
- Age of Channel State Information
- Age of Information in Robotics and Control Systems
- Age of Information and Security
- Age of Information and Networking - Age of Information and Game Theory
- Age of Information and Control Theory
- Data Freshness in Caches and Databases
- Fresh Big Data
- Fresh Data for Online Learning
- Applications of Age of Information
The AoI Workshop calls for original and unpublished papers. Each paper can have at most 6 pages plus 2 extra pages (2 extra pages w/ $100 per extra page). The manuscripts should be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and be submitted as PDF files (formatted for 8.5x11 inch paper). Manuscripts should be submitted through the EDAS website: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=26851 https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=26851&track=99569 &track=99569
