Call for Papers
2nd IEEE Workshop on Automotive Networking and Applications
(AutoNet 2007)
Co-located with IEEE GLOBECOM 2007
November 30, 2007 (Friday) - Washington, DC, USA
Following the success of the 1st IEEE AutoNet, this one-day workshop seeks to present the latest research results and challenges in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-with-infrastructure communications technologies, and their applications including improved safety, reduced traffic congestion and pollution, smoother driving experience, among others. Specifically, we solicit original research contributions addressing the following areas:
* Vehicle-with-roadside/infrastructure communications
* Vehicular ad hoc networks * Potential applications of V2V or V2R communications
* Security and authentication issues in V2V or V2R networks
* V2V or V2R communication protocols (MAC, routing, mobility management, etc.) * Physical layer and RF level technologies for V2V or V2R communications * Radio resource management and QoS support for V2V or V2R communications
* Information networking over V2V, V2R and next-generation networks
* Simulation / performance evaluation techniques for V2V or V2R communications
* Experimental systems and testbeds for V2V or V2R communications
* Standardization updates on V2V or V2R communications
