*Paper Submissions and Publications*
The 3 rd IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2016) solicits two types of submissions.
- *Full papers* describing original research. Suggested size is four pages; papers up to six pages will be accepted. Papers will be fully peer reviewed and, if accepted, included in conference proceedings and will be submitted to the Xplore Digital Library. Extended versions of selected papers may be considered for publication in IEEE IoT Journal. - *Extended abstracts* describing emerging results of new research areas or relevant topics from an industrial point of view, not to exceed two pages.

*Special Session Submissions*
IEEE WF-IoT 2016 will be hosting a series of special sessions and invites the submission of special session proposals. They should emphasize on current topics relevant to the IoT community on the latest research, engineering, standards and business issues and should include a mix of regular and invited presentations. Special Sessions should complement the regular program with new and emerging topics of interest.
Each Special Session Proposal must include the following and should be maximum four pages:
- Title - Abstract - Scope - Intended audience - Objective - Prior history (if any) - An outline of advertising plan - Brief bio of the organizers - Any other relevant information
Accepted Special Sessions must implement IEEE academic best practices regarding peer reviews and paper publication. Accepted and presented paper will be added to IEEE Xplore and the conference proceedings.
The proposal must be submitted through EDAS system at – https://edas.info/N22145 using the option for “Special Sessions Proposal”.

*Workshop Submissions*
IEEE WF-IoT 2016 will be hosting a series of workshops and invites the submission of workshop proposals. Workshops should emphasize on current topics relevant to the IoT community on the latest research, engineering, standards and business issues and should include a mix of regular and invited presentations. Workshops should include a mix of regular papers, invited papers, presentations and panels that encourage the participation of attendees in active discussion.
Each Special Session Proposal must include the following and should be maximum five pages:
- Title - Length of the workshop (half/full day) - Names, contacts and a short bio (200 words) of the workshop organizers - Brief description of the workshop including abstract, scope and timeliness. - Planned format of the workshop including no. of referred papers, hot topic sessions, keynotes, and panel discussions. - Potential participants including TPC members and invited speakers. - Brief description of advertising plan - Prior history the workshop (if any) - Draft call for papers - Any other relevant information

The 2016 IEEE 3rd World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT) will be hosting Industry Forum Panel Sessions. Presentation in Industrial Forum will be panelist based and panel presentation material will not be published in conference proceedings but will be available in the conference web site. Industrial Forum Panel proposal should contain an abstract, scope, intended audience, objectives, prior history, an outline, the biographical sketch of presenters and any other information that may assist in making decisions.
