Call for Papers and Workshop Proposals
27th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking (ICDCN 2026)
January 6-9 2026 Nara, Japan
*** paper submission deadline: July 25, 2025 ***
The International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking (ICDCN) is a premier international conference dedicated to addressing advances in Distributed Computing and Communication Networks. The 27th edition of this conference will be held at the Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA, located in a historical city, Nara, Japan. Nara is the most historic and spiritual center of Japan, where the first capital city was built over 1300 years ago. Close to Kyoto and Osaka and quickly accessible by train, Nara has World Heritage sites and well-preserved temples and shrines. ICDCN 2026 will consist of a highly selective technical program consisting of refereed papers, distinguished keynotes, an industrial track, workshops, tutorials, posters and demos, and a doctoral symposium on emerging topics about distributed computing and networking. The proceedings of ICDCN 2026, including all satellite events such as posters, demos, and workshops, will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceeding Series (ICPS). Additionally, extended versions of selected papers will be invited for fast-track publications in the Theoretical Computer Science (TCS) Journal or in Elsevier's Pervasive and Mobile Computing (PMC) Journal.
** Call for Papers
Regular Papers should not exceed 10 pages double-column including figures, tables, and references in standard ACM format. Regular papers may include a clearly marked Appendix with all the additional details required to validate the results (including technical proofs and experimental results that did not fit into the first 10 pages). Short Papers must not exceed 5 pages double-column including figures, tables, and references in standard ACM format. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper. All papers must be submitted through the EasyChair portal. For more details, visit the conference web site. Papers describing original research work and practical experiences/experimental results are solicited on topics that include, but are not limited to, the following.
