INTRODUCTION =============

Embedded and ubiquitous computing is a paradigm that aims to provide computing and communication services to the end users all the time and everywhere. Embedded and ubiquitous computing systems are now invading every aspect of our daily life and aim to revolutionize our life much more profoundly than the electric motors or even personal computer revolution did. The EUC-2023 will provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in theoretical foundations, systems, infrastructure, tools, testbeds, and applications for the embedded and ubiquitous computing, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future.

EUC-2023 will be hosted in Exeter, the capital city of Devon and provides the county with a central base for education, medicine, religion, commerce and culture. The city is also home to the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, which dates back to Norman times. Exeter is also ideally placed to base a trip to branch out visiting places such as the famous Dartmoor National Park and the unspoilt beaches of the North and South Devon coastlines.

Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers to EUC-2023. All accepted papers are expected to be included in IEEE Xplore and will be indexed by Engineering Index (EI). The authors of selected best papers will be invited post conference to extend their contributions for special issues of prestigious journals to be planned in conjunction with the conference.

Track 2: Applications for embedded and ubiquitous computing

Track 3: Parallel and distributed systems

Track 4: Mobile systems and applications for embedded and ubiquitous computing

Track 5: Enhanced living environments and smart habitats for older adults

Track 6: Security, safety and reliability/dependability

Track 7: Hardware architectures and design tools

Track 8: Software and programming tools for embedded and ubiquitous computing

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE ==========================

All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference submission website (https://hpcn.exeter.ac.uk/euc/) with PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts).

Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference.
