With the rapid development of personal computers and the widespread penetration of broadband accesses, multimedia services are getting increasingly popular among users and have contributed to a significant amount of today's network traffic.
The objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry, present state-of-the-art research and developing activities contributing to all facets of multimedia systems and networking, and identify emerging applications and research directions. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Design and performance of media servers, operating systems, and middleware * Adaptive and scalable multimedia coding * QoS control and scheduling for Internet media delivering * Media streaming on overlay and peer-to-peer networks * Wireless multimedia systems and performance * Mobility in multimedia * Multimedia processing and coding * Multimedia security

Workshop papers due: November 22, 2005 Notification of acceptance of workshop papers: January 10, 2006 Camera-ready manuscripts and registrations due: To be announced.
Submission Guideline We encourage submission of high-quality papers reporting original work in both theoretical and experimental research areas. Accepted papers will be published in IPCCC proceedings by the IEEE Press. A submission should not exceed 20 double spaced pages with a font size of no less than 11pt, and should include a cover page with author names and affiliations, as well as the fax, telephone number, and e-mail address for the contact author.
The paper submission will be handled by the EDAS System. An acknowledgement with a paper ID will be generated automatically. Please contact TPC chairs if no acknowledgement is received within three days after submission.
