=========================================================================================== CALL FOR PAPERS
Special Session on Information Dissemination in Vehicular Networks
IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference 2011
Jan 9 - 12, 2011 * Las Vegas, NV, USA
www.ieee-ccnc.orghttp://www.ieee-ccnc.org/
=============================================================================================
This session will focus on state-of-the-art technologies for information dissemination in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) networks. With the growing interests in using V2V or V2I communications to support cooperative safety and traffic information applications, there have been much recent research efforts on how to effectively and efficiently disseminate information in a timely and reliable manner. For example, various studies have focused on delay tolerant approaches, data aggregation and routing to limit wireless congestion and improve communication performance. The impacts and significance of such communications technologies in various phases of vehicle network deployments are also critical. This session seeks to provide a forum to present and discuss original relevant research results.
Authors are invited to submit regular technical papers or position papers. The position papers should present novel technologies at an early stage of development or share future vision. All submissions should describe original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Manuscripts should not exceed five (5) pages in double-column IEEE format. Please submit the paper through EDAS. Formatting details can be found under Author Information on the CCNC web site.
Submissions deadline: Aug 31, 2010
Submissions for the Special Sessions are subject to the same rules, guidelines and peer review as all other papers.
