We are continuously accepting submissions for the SIGMM's quarterly newsletter, the SIGMM Records, whose next edition will be published on June 30.
The SIGMM Records are a channel for researchers to disseminate their achievements to the multimedia research community at large. They are accessible through the SIG's website, the dedicated mailing list sigmm-records@simula.no , and the ACM Digital Library (ISSN number 1947-4598). You can find these editions at the website: http://sigmm.org/records
Please visit the following newsletter web site that explains appropriate content and provides submission instructions: http://sigmm.org/records
Contributions that we solicit in particular are your statements and summaries about the state of particular research topics in multimedia, your views on the interaction between research and industry, and view of the future. We are also very interested in publishing abstracts of newly concluded PhD theses, news about SIG MM members who have been granted awards and conference/workshop reports from SIGMM-related events. We are also interested in including information about freely available code and data sets that could be of interest to the community, calls-for-paper for SIGMM-related events, opportunities for awards and open researcher positions.
You can use the provided forms at http://sigmm.org/records or send an email directions to enews-contributions@sigmm.org
