*Description* LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology is in its booming phase and would be a worldwide adopted communication solution for the Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Therefore, many companies and institutions are investing in LPWAN technology these days. LoRaWAN is one of the highly selected LPWAN technology, which has both industry (Semtech, Loriot, Senet, just named a few) and community support (“The Things Network”). It would be wise to select LoRaWAN as LPWAN enabling technology especially for IoT networks, due to its low cost, end-device energy efficiency, and very available technical support. In this workshop, LPWAN based IoT networks, especially LoRaWAN, will be introduced, including applications, challenges along with its security implications from the cyber-security point of view.
We cordially invite authors to submit papers especially on the following topics of the IoT: LPWAN, LoRa, LoRaWAN, NBIoT, Sigfox, Weightless, LTE-M, Ingenu, WAVIoT, 802.11ah.
Kind Regards -- Ismail Butun (Ph.D.) Post Doctoral Fellow Department of Computer Science and Engineering Chalmers University of Technology
