Dear Lars Wolf ,
We are delighted to invite you to participate in *ACM BuildSys 2025*, one of the flagship conferences of *ACM SIGEnergy*, which will be held in *Golden, Colorado, USA*, on *November 20–21, 2025*, with *workshops taking place November 19–21*.
ACM BuildSys is a highly selective, single-track forum for research on systems issues covering all aspects of the built environment. After several successful years of being co-located with ACM SenSys and following a series of strong programs, BuildSys will be held as an independent conference for the first time in 2025.
For more information, please visit:

We look forward to your participation and hope to see you in Golden this November!
Warm regards, BuildSys 2025 Organizing Committee
The *12th ACM International Conference on Systems for Energy-Efficient Buildings, Cities, and Transportation (BuildSys 2025)* is a highly selective, single-track forum for research at the intersection of buildings, cities, and transportation systems. The conference highlights innovations in cyber-physical infrastructure, data-driven modeling, and system-level design for smart, efficient, and resilient urban environments.
Built environments and critical infrastructure account for more than half of society’s energy use and are central to our economy, safety, and health. Advances in sensing, computing, and control technologies are transforming how we understand and optimize these systems. BuildSys 2025 invites contributions addressing challenges such as energy efficiency, sustainability, air quality, mobility, and human comfort using interdisciplinary approaches grounded in computing and engineering.
Core topics include:
-Networked sensing, control, and optimization in urban infrastructure
-AI/ML and data analytics for the built environment
-Resilient and sustainable building and city systems
-Human-in-the-loop systems, health, safety, and comfort
-Cyber-physical systems, edge computing, and IoT integration
BuildSys also features:
-A joint poster/demo session with 1-minute madness
-Workshops and tutorials (Nov 19–21)
-A PhD forum
-Fast-track opportunities to /ACM TOSN/ and /Data-Centric Engineering/ journals
-Awards for Best Paper, Poster/Demo, and PhD Presentation
BuildSys 2025 is organized by *ACM SIGEnergy* and hosted at *Colorado School of Mines*, offering ample opportunity through a highly technical community, all with a stunning Rocky Mountain setting.
We look forward to seeing you in Golden this November!
