The Recent Results track will accept submissions in all topics relevant to VTC. It differs from other tracks in that submission of 2-page abstracts (with results) will be considered as well as 5-page full papers. All abstracts submitted to the Recent Results track will undergo peer-review by subject matter experts, and the full paper version of accepted submissions will be submitted for publication in the conference proceedings and on IEEE Xplore® (conditional on presentation by one of the authors during the conference). All submissions should emphasize the novelty of the work and the results obtained.

ASSURED project provides key innovations: (1) Interoperable high power charging systems, (2) charger-vehicle interoperability and standardization, (3) smart tools for fleet level optimization, and (4) innovative energy storage systems and charging management strategies.
The goal of this special session is to present the recent developments and innovations of ASSURED project to worldwide research community with a strong focus on electrification in cities. Topics of interest of this special session include, but are not limited to:
- (ultra) Fast charging concepts and technologies. - Charging management strategies. - Advances in vehicle powertrains and systems. - Electric energy storage systems. - Fleet management strategies. - Grid stability, reliability, power quality analysis and location optimization. - Interoperability testing procedures, interoperable interfaces and standardization. - Modeling and digital twins of vehicle and fleet. - TCO and LCA Assessment. - Eco-energy management strategies.
