Global IoT Summit (GIoTS-2017)
http://www.globaliotsummit.org/ Organized by Mandat International, IEEE IoT TsC, the IoT Forum and IPv6 Forum, endorsed by IEEE-ComSoc (collocated with the IoT Week 2017)
6-9 June 2017
Geneva, Switzerland
The IEEE-ComSoc-endorsed Global IoT Summit (GIoTS) will be collocated with the IoT Week 2017 at the International Conference Centre in Geneva, bringing together the research and industry communities active in the IoT domain. The GIoTS will focus on selecting and presenting scientific papers on IoT to be published in the IEEE Xplore.
There are several challenges in terms of turning the vision of IoT into reality. This includes architecture, communication, services, computational intelligence, storage, governance apart from core areas of sensor development and material engineering. This conference brings together researchers from diversely cross-disciplinary areas to address challenges in the emerging discipline. Co-located with 2017 IoT Week organized by the IoT Forum, GIoTS-2017 discusses the breaking advances in Internet of Things and the feasibility of extending IoT, including wireless sensor network technology, to become truly ubiquitous with new cloud and edge computing technologies, big data analysis, citizen engagement, privacy and cybersecurity, and governance.
The 2017 Global IoT Summit (GIoTS) seeks contributions on how to address these challenges and to support IoT technologies and applications for the benefit of society and industry. The conference welcome cross-domain studies that address the challenges of IoT, including emerging and disruptive technologies, and prospective analysis.
Original papers are solicited in, but are not limited to, the following topics:
IoT Enabling Technologies IoT Security and Privacy IoT Applications, Services and Real Implementations IoT Experimental Results and Deployment Scenarios IoT Interoperability, Frameworks and Architectures IoT Societal Impacts IoT Business Models and Impact on the Industry IoT Multimedia
The Global Internet of Things Summit (GIoTS 2017) solicits submissions.
Full papers describing original research. Suggested size is four pages; papers up to six pages will be accepted. Papers will be fully peer reviewed. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases
Submission Guidelines All papers must conform, at time of submission, to the IEEE Formatting Guidelines. Please use either this Word Template or this LaTeX package. Make sure that you use US letter page format. IEEE takes the protection of intellectual property seriously. Accordingly, all submissions will be screened for plagiarism using CrossCheck. By submitting your work you agree to allow IEEE to screen your work. For more information please visit:http://www.crossref.org/crosscheck/index.html
