Dear colleague,

the International Workshop on Intelligent Transportation (WIT 2005) continues the WIT 2004 event last year in Hamburg which was in many respects a very successful conference. The University of Science and Technology decided therefore to organize WIT 2005 again in Hamburg on March 15th and 16th, 2005. High level presentations by leading experts in this field will allow each participant to get an in-depth view on the status of current applications and future research activities.

The objective of this workshop is to bring experts from different scientific and technical areas together for a fruitful discussion about modern traffic and transportation systems. We would be very pleased if you would attend this workshop and send us your conference contribution.

Topics of the conference include, but are not limited to, the following:
