The IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC), sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, is a major annual international conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit Work-in-Progress (WiP) papers related to all areas of consumer communications and networking that summarizes speculative breakthroughs, industry featured projects, open problems, new application challenges, visionary ideas, and preliminary studies or recent achievements that are not quite ready for a regular full-length technical paper. The CCNC 2018 organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials, which are half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) in length and will take place on the first and last day of the conference (January 12 and 15). We seek proposals across a wide range of topics and levels — ranging from fundamentals to the latest advances in hot topic areas. Topics of interest include all areas of consumer communications and networking.

We invite researchers and developers from academic, industrial, and government laboratories to present their novel ideas and demonstrations of original research prototypes. CCNC especially welcomes demonstrations of emerging and innovative technologies that have potential commercial application from nascent and incubating companies. In addition, authors that have a demonstration component in their work and are planning to submit their papers to the main technical tracks are highly encouraged to also submit proposals to the demonstration session.
