Patch release 0.10.2 is available! This release is dedicated to fix bugs which could lead to segmentation faults or just behave the wrong way. The source is available via the project Trac. The packages for Debian, Raspbian and OpenWrt are currently in our build queue and should be available very soon. Android application : Broadcast receiver troubles

I am an italian student from "Alma Mater Studiorum Bologna" university and I am writing a DTN aware application for Android. I am having troubles on receiving external intents from the IBR-DTN deamon. The problem is tha the BroadcastReceiver (DtnReceiver) doesn't get triggered for incoming bundles. So I tried to modify the DTNexampleApp changing the package from de.tubs.ibr.dtn.ping to de.tubs.ibr.dtn.dtnawareapp but when i come to change <category android:name="de.tubs.ibr.dtn.ping" /> to <category android:name="de.tubs.ibr.dtn.dtnawareapp" /> the BroadcastReceiver just doesn't get triggered anymore. without changes it gets triggered, even with package name mismach (package name:de.tubs.ibr.dtn.dtnawareapp , category:de.tubs.ibr.dtn.ping ) I can't figure out where i'm going wrong, I know this is probably an Android related issue, but I didin't find enough documentation on custom categories for intent filters.

If a bundle arrives after this time having been expired, it is rejected by the receiving node. This cannot only happen, if the bundle really is too old, but also if the clocks of the nodes differ too much. Did you check whether the clocks are set to the same time and date? If possible, you could just connect them to the internet for a few minutes so they can get the current time themselves via NTP. Hello, I am creating na application that uses IBR-DTN and testing using 2 cellphones. However, though both cellphones have installed the exact same application, when I click to send the DTN packet only one manages to receive. For example, cellphone A sends dtn packet to B and B receives, when B sends a packet to A, A doesn't receive. I've checked that A and B really send their packages, the problem seems to be on the reception. Does anyone know what might be causing it? Thanks in advance, Guilherme Rolim

Hello Brian, libel is not required by the daemon. Thus, I assume something else went wrong here.
