Bundle Queueing

Dear IBR-DTN Community, Currently I'm looking into the bundle queuing of IBR-DTN. In the code of IBR-DTN_1.0.1 I've found different queue implementations for HDD (SimpleBundleStorage) and memory (MemoryBundleStorage). i.e. In the SimpleBundleStorage _priority_index queue is encapsulated by the class MetaStorage and in the MemoryBundleStorage it is not. Is there a specific reason for the difference in the context of memory management? Best Regards, Alex van der Linden

Hi all, I just want to compare throughput IBT-DTN and TCP IP. Could you help me the correct tools. Currently I use wireshark but I still confiuse to analysis wireshark for live striming data.

Retrieve local_uri through the socket?

Only one connection at a time.

Hi all, Is there a way to make only one communication at a time for each node. Here is what I want to do: I have three nodes, node1, node2, and node3 connected between them. At instant 't1', node1 sends bundles to node2 during [t1,t1+ΔT]. At another instant t2 ∈ [t1,t1+ΔT], node3 sends bundles to node1 and node2. Consequently at that time, I want : - node1 rejects the bundles of node3 because node1 is receiving bundles (is already in communication) - node2 reject the bundles of node3 because node2 is sending bundles to node1. So, I want that a node can reject bundles if it is in communication (exchanging bundles with other node(s)). Best Regards, Farouk

[IBR DTN] Notification about at the beginning of a bundle reception

Hello all, I am using a scenario in which there are 2 nodes (node 1 and node 2) running the IBR DTN project. In this scenario, I have node 1 will send a bundle for node 2 at instant "t1". Suppose, that the bundle will be received by node 2 at instant "t1+Δt". My question is, is it a way for the node 2 to know at an instant 't2' if it is receiving a bundle from a neighboring node (node 1 in this case)? So in this scenario, I want to get these information : 1/ at t2 ∉ [t1,t1+Δt] ==> node 2 checks and discovers that it is not receiving bundles from neighboring nodes 2/ at t2 ∈ [t1,t1+Δt] ==> node 2 checks and discovers that it is receiving a bundle from neighboring nodes Best Regards, Farouk
