did you addresses the right endpoint for the dtnping? If the mobile device has an identifier "dtn://android-xyz" then you should ping the address "dtn://android-xyz/echo". If this still isn't working, check if the clocks of both devices are in sync. Further, you should take a look at the log output on both nodes to get a hint what might fail here.

I started ibr-dtn daemon on my laptop via wifi in the same network my android mobile is connect (using ibr-dtn app). The android application manages to see the laptop as a neighbour, however, the dtnping from laptop to mobile does not work, and I couldn't test the dtn ping application (from the Dtn Example App) because it stops working. I presume that both laptop and mobile can connect with each other, right? Could anyone help me understand the source of the problem?
