thank you for your quick reply. If I get this right I type "opkg update" and then "opkg install ibrdtn-tools"?
Are there any additional packages I need to install in order to fully install the daemon?
Note that I have not modified the configuration file in the router, so maybe that's why I get the terminate.
Just guessing..
What about a manual for the beginners?

at least as for the tools maybe you just forget to install a package. You must install ibrdtn-tools (ibrdtnd is not enough, as it does not depend on the tools), once you have done that, you should find dtnsend, and friends in /usr/bin/
Can't say anything regarding the terminate exception atm.
