Hi,

Yes that should work. I am not sure if it is a dependency of ibrdtnd or not, but maybe you also want/need opkg install dtndht That library enables BitTorrent DHT based EID resolution, so you can contact with nodes on another network only using the EID without setting up any manual routes. This however only works, for nodes with internet access

A manual for beginners:
1. We do not have it
2. We need it

That is all I can say for now. If you (or anybody) write down any kind of tutorial/step-by-step howto we would be gladnto include it into our Wiki pages, and award you our eternal gratitude...

Most information regarding the correct configuration of the daemon you can however find inside the shipped configuration file. It includes plenty of comments.

Good Luck

Sebastian

Hello Sebastian,

thank you for your quick reply. If I get this right I type "opkg update" and then "opkg install ibrdtn-tools"?
Are there any additional packages I need to install in order to fully install the daemon?
Note that I have not modified the configuration file in the router, so maybe that's why I get the terminate.
Just guessing..

What about a manual for the beginners?

Hi Dimitris,

at least as for the tools maybe you just forget to install a package.  You must install ibrdtn-tools (ibrdtnd is not enough, as it does not depend on the tools), once you have done that, you should find dtnsend, and friends in /usr/bin/

Can't say anything regarding the terminate exception atm.
