Hello,
I was going through the configuration file and I had some problems understanding what the discovery announcements address is about? The default address is 224.0.0.1. Could someone please explain it a bit more thoroughly?
Thank you.
Hi,
IBR-DTN is using IPND (v1 draft) for discovery: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-irtf-dtnrg-ipnd-01
the discovery address ist the multicast address used for discovery. It should be the same on all nodes in your network, to ensure they can discover each other. If I rememember correctly it should also be possible to set this to 255.255.255.255, i.e. fall back to simple broadcast if your system has problems with multicast.
