Good Day,
I started ibr-dtn daemon on my laptop via wifi in the same network my android mobile is connect (using ibr-dtn app). The android application manages to see the laptop as a neighbour, however, the dtnping from laptop to mobile does not work, and I couldn't test the dtn ping application (from the Dtn Example App) because it stops working. I presume that both laptop and mobile can connect with each other, right? Could anyone help me understand the source of the problem?
Thanks in advance, Guilherme Rolim
Hello,
did you addresses the right endpoint for the dtnping? If the mobile device has an identifier "dtn://android-xyz" then you should ping the address "dtn://android-xyz/echo". If this still isn't working, check if the clocks of both devices are in sync. Further, you should take a look at the log output on both nodes to get a hint what might fail here.
Kind regards, Johannes Morgenroth

Hello
or, if you want to ping FROM the Android device using the DTN example App, keep in mind that due to API changes the DTNexample App from the GIT repository is not compatible with the IBR DTN version from the market at the moment. We plan to have a new release in the forseeable future, however until then you can try installing a development build

The ping worked, thanks! About the DTN example App, I'll use the development build you mentioned.
PS: Sorry for sending another e-mail about the DTN Example App. I thought I had this e-mail subscribed at that time, but it was the other one.
Yours Sincerely, Guilherme
