Re: [ibr-dtn] Ibr-dtn Digest, Vol 43, Issue 3
Hello,
Me and Romeu are working on the same project with DTNs.
We ran the deamon with "dtnd -i wlan2", even with an error: "ERROR IPNDAgent: join failed on wlan2; 99: setsockopt() Thu Jan 1 00:02:02 1970" that you said we can ignore.
Then we checked that the boards are connecting, through a wireless connection.
After we had problems when we tried to follow the tutorial, we tried the dtnping, dtnsend and dtnrecv but the problem is the same for both: -ash: dtnping: not found -ash: dtnsend: not found
Can you understand these errors and tell us if we are doing something wrong?
Thank you in advance, Luís Guedes

It seems to be working. We are now transferring files between the devices. By the way, is there a way to guarantee that IBR-DTN is only using the interfaces we specified? We launched the daemon with the command "dtnd -i wlan2", is this enough to make sure IBR-DTN only uses wlan2?

We tested dtnping, dtnsend and dtnrecv and all these are working. But we are having problems using dtninbox & dtnoutbox . We followed the test guide on the tutorial: https://trac.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de/project-cm-2012-ibrdtn/wiki/ibr-dtn-tut , and we get this output which continues to reappear periodically (few seconds) and almost simultaneously on both devices:

The problem is, that dtninbox and outbox expect gnu-tar. OpenWRT uses a busybox tar replacement that does not support the neccessary option (—remove-file).
dtninbox and outbox should be seen more as some nice example programs, so you might want to modify them, or replicate their features using dtntrigger and some scripting. However, the easiest solution might be installing gnu-tar if your OpenWRT plattform has such a package.
