David, thank you for forwarding this. -- Yes, libsmi is not really tolerant to incorrect MIB modules. This could be a problem with some applications. However, if you feed only MIBs to it, that smilint does not complain about, everything should be fine. So, I agree to Dave's proposal to simply use the complete and correct modules that come with libsmi.
