I'm looking through libsmi man pages, but I have 2 very fundamental go/no-go questions that could probably be easily addressed here.
Can libsmi be used to look at agents with custom MIBs?
If so, how are these MIBs 'compiled' into the application code?
I am not sure which man pages you have read, but you should have noticed by reading libsmi man pages that libsmi is a parser library and that none of the tools shipped with the libsmi package talks SNMP.
