I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to print the value as specified by the display hint. There is an item on the TODO page that says "split the library into [t]wo layers: (a)[...](b)[...]display-hint based value formatting". This sounds like it is something the library already does; should I keep looking, or is it not in there?
Thanks,

Perhaps smiRenderValue() is doing what you want?
