I am getting myself annoyed by these namelength-32 warnings. While I know how to turn them off, I am wondering whether the time has come to just kill these warnings. This would be inline with the MIB review guidelines.
Another issue are the smidump options. I would like to rename the -s smidump option to say -q and introduce the -s and -m options in exactly the same way smilint implements them. This would allow to change an smilint command more easily to an smidump command and back and promote some more consistency.
If nobody objects, I will implement both of these changes.

Although I don't know anything about responses sent to Jürgen, I think there have been no objections. I have done these changes (and also updated the smilint/smidiff mail service to reflect the changes).

I did not receive any negative responses so the changes should be fine. And thanks for doing the work I promised to do. ;-)
